“I tried to get out my head, tried to declutter my space. Feng shui get out my own way, still hear this noise all around. Still building up it’s so loud, Baby, could you turn it way down? And give me a groove like you used to be. Put me in the mood like I used to be. Stop what you’re doing and come dance with me. 2 step in the living room, with me.” – lyrics

“2 Step In The Living Room” tells an endearing tale about a woman who desires to dance with her significant other in their cozy living room. “Don’t wanna think anymore,” she tells her partner. “Throw them numbers at the door, just know there’s four on the floor.”

“2 Step In The Living Room” contains an intriguing narrative, soothing melodies, and ear-pleasing soul vocals. The mellow tune is featured on Terrace Martin & Alex Isley’s collaboration album, “I Left My Heart In Ladera.”
