“This is not no love line, I’m not picking up at midnight. I’m not giving you no more time, now let’s get a few things right. No lie, lemme tell you I don’t need you. Used to wait around for you all night, you ain’t getting no more mine.” – lyrics

‘Love Line’ tells an intriguing tale about a young woman who shares a problematic relationship with her significant other. Apparently, she’s tired of getting her nails and hair done for a man who never comes home. Also, she’s done waiting for him because he doesn’t care for her the way she wants to be cared for. Later, she decides not to answer his phone calls anymore.

‘Love Line’ contains a troubled relationship-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocalization, and dance-friendly vibration that will resonate well with fans of Discrete, Nicky Romero, and Dance Yourself Clean. The likable tune possesses melodic house-infused instrumentation littered with smart percussive elements and neat synth work. Furthermore, “Love Line” serves as a timely reminder of Shift K3Y’s undeniable skill in producing immaculate dance records.
