“I’m currently in a long-distance relationship and used to jokingly sing the hook of Soulja Boy’s “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” to him. I brought the idea of covering the song to my friend and producer, Justin Gammella (Finneas, Ashe, Lennon Stella, Steve Aoki, Kaskade). We wrote our own fun version of it, alongside Daylight (Shawn Mendes) and David Spektor.” – Merōn stated
