PLANT is a London-based singer-songwriter and producer from Portland, Oregon. Not too long ago, she released a lovely debut single, entitled, “Aftershock,” produced and co-written by Stefan Abingdon (Selena Gomez, Jess Glynne).

“I wrote ‘Aftershock’ after a minor fight I had with my partner that I just couldn’t get over. It made me think, when we have these fights, where do our words go after they are voiced? Who’s responsible for their reverberations – the speaker or the listener? I don’t know if I found an answer. But writing about it gave my hurt feelings the voice they needed to be heard.” – PLANT explained
‘Aftershock’ contains a problematic relationship-based narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Sylvan Esso and Lorde. The atmospheric tune possesses dark synth-laden instrumentation flavored with electro-pop, indie-electronic, and contemporary pop elements.
