Madison Beer releases an extravagant music video for her “Dangerous” single

Madison Beer is a rising pop star from Long Island, New York. Not too long ago, she released an extravagant music video for her “Dangerous” single via  Epic/Sing It Loud. The song was co-produced and co-written by Madison alongside Tobias Jesso Jr and James Francies, as well as longtime collaborators – Tim Sommers, Jeremy “Kinetics” Dussolliet, and Leroy Clampitt.

“Dangerous is the start of a more honest, vulnerable, and mature chapter. It’s about accepting that some situations didn’t pan out the way you imagined. And it’s about questioning your own responsibility in a relationship. I’m really excited for fans to hear this new side and hope they love it as much as I do!” – Madison Beer explained

‘Dangerous’ is a beautiful showcase of Madison Beer’s vocals through lush harmonies and dreamy production, complete with an ethereal string arrangement. The cinematic visual, co-directed by Madison, finds her in an emotional performance of the track, centerstage amongst an orchestra ensemble.

Also, the release of “Dangerous” comes ahead of Madison’s debut at the Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend, where she’ll be performing the song live for the first time. Prior to “Dangerous,” Madison released “Reckless,” the first track from her upcoming second album. The song was her personal best streaming week debut on Spotify and currently has over 234 million streams on the platform.

Madison Beer – “Reckless” music video

“I drew a lot of inspiration from classic children’s book themes for this video. I wanted the world for ‘Reckless’ to feel both disorienting and familiar, like a nightmare where nothing is what it seems and there’s no way out. Those are exactly the emotions I’ve gone through in relationships that have turned sour. When someone you’ve given all your trust to betrays you, you feel like everything you’ve ever known was a lie.” – Madison Beer explained

In the video, directed by Madison and Amber Park, Madison navigates the confusion of a lover’s betrayal inside a surreal storybook world. The twisted fairytale is a melancholic but beautiful journey, with Madison emerging from the turmoil in the end as if awoken from a dream.

Similarly, “Reckless” tells an unhappy tale about a young woman who remembers when her significant other revealed how important she was in his life. At that moment, he admitted that there were no other girls in his life except her. Unfortunately for her, he wasn’t telling the truth, and she ended up with a broken heart.
