Fionn releases an appealing music video for their blissful pop tune, entitled, “Picnic on the Moon”

Fionn (Alanna & Brianne Finn-Morris) is an identical twin duo from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Not too long ago, they released an appealing music video for their blissful pop tune, entitled, “Picnic on the Moon,” which showcases their most authentic sound yet.

Fionn – “Picnic on the Moon” music video

“Sometimes I hate myself you know, I scream it to the cosmos when every star I’ve wished on loses every magic note. ‘Let’s have a picnic on the moon.’ You say, ‘today’s our day, lay out a checkered blanket, let our worries float away.’ We could run outside like we’re 11 and the whole world says, ‘It’s time to stop pretending.’ But I could sit on Saturn’s ring and watch the earth spin with you till I die. Count to three, baby, just hold me, and we’ll fly. It’s a candy necklace life, go ahead and take a bite.” – lyrics

‘Picnic on the Moon’ tells a wonderful tale about a young woman who shares a budding relationship with her significant other. Apparently, she wants to dance outside with her partner like it’s the ending of a romantic comedy with the closing credits rolling. With a charming voice, she tells her companion, “I love you more than lemon drops or candy floss, or both those things combined. You know you’re all I need just like the sea, I’ll jump right in your tides.”

‘Picnic On The Moon’ finds Fionn traveling back to their singer-songwriter roots with honest lyricism and captivating storytelling. The energetic tune possesses electric guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with contemporary pop and alternative-folk elements. Furthermore, “Picnic On The Moon” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear from Fionn in the near future as they continue to release new and exciting music.

“Savour each second like the last sip of strawberry wine.”

“‘Picnic on the Moon’ is a song about being so in love with someone that you build your own world when you’re together, far away from every day worries. Meeting and connecting with someone on this level brings you back to a childlike level of excitement, as you start to see beauty in the little things. It can really be dedicated to anyone who lifts you up and changes your perspective to a more positive one.” – Fionn explained

Fionn’s current vibe embraces a more playful side, a direct result of the sisters’ experiences and mindset over the past year. Their constant evolutionary state has taken them to new heights. With over 1.5 million Spotify streams, the duo has impressed industry and press alike since debuting in 2017.
