Emotional Oranges releases a music video for their “Someone Else” single

Emotional Oranges is a mysterious R&B-centric collective based in Los Angeles, California. Not too long ago, they released a music video for their “Someone Else” single from their “The Juice, Vol. 1” EP.

Emotional Oranges – “Someone Else” music video

“This is the first time we’ve collaborated on a track outside of our camp. Dante Jones of THEY. helped produce this one. We wanted it to be on some 2020 Dr. Dre x Emotional Oranges energy. Wrote it about openly telling my girl that if she’s unhappy, she needs to go be with someone else.” – Emotional Oranges

‘Someone Else’ contains a relevant storyline, harmonious vocals, and groovy instrumentation flavored with alternative-pop, neo-soul, and contemporary R&B elements.

Emotional Oranges’ sound is a mixture of funky bass, break-beat drums, and jazzy guitars which creates a refreshing, retro sound with futuristic undertones.

Their debut singles, “Motion” and “Personal” immediately created a cult following, generating over 12M streams globally. So much that Michelle Obama and Guy Fieri have all publicly championed the band.

Not much is known about Emotional Oranges. But it has been speculated that when Adele’s vocal coach and Drake’s engineer met at a bat mitzvah in 2017, the band was instantly born.

Their upcoming tour, entitled, Chill Baby, Chill, will kick off on May 20, 2019, in Toronto. Also, it will make its way around the world with sold-out dates in New York City and Los Angeles.

Get acquainted with their new project by streaming their “The Juice: Vol. 1” EP online via Spotify.

“This project is a culmination of nearly 4 years of work. It started as just a ridiculous idea in a 10 x 10 studio with a close friend and slowly developed into a collective of the best creatives we know. We made music and art that we wanted to hear and see and are grateful that so many people have connected to it. We hope you enjoy THE JUICE: VOLUME I. Rest assured that VOLUME II. is already in the works. Also, this is only the beginning of the emotional revolution.” – Emotional Oranges
