Emotional Oranges is a mysterious Los Angeles-based R&B-centric collective. Not too long ago, they released a groovy R&B tune, entitled, “Built That Way”.

‘Built That Way’ tells an interesting tale of a couple who have a transparent and honest relationship. Even though everything is up front and center, the truth is still painful to hear.
The Miseducation by Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu’s Mama’s Gun songs inspired Emotional Oranges to create their “Built That Way” single.
The bubbly tune contains a relatable storyline and ear-welcoming vocals. Also, the song possesses groovy instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and neo-soul elements.

Emotional Oranges’ “Built That Way” single will be featured on their debut compilation, entitled, “THE JUICE: VOL. I”, available May 10, 2019.
