Dyo (pronounced Dye-O) is a rising British-Nigerian singer-songwriter based in East London, England. Not too long ago, she released a lyric video for her “Can’t Buy My Love” single, produced by SESS, Michael Bakare (Adekunle Gold), and Mirza.

“‘Can’t Buy My Love’ is about being a strong woman who can’t be taken advantage of or bribed with gifts. My love cannot be bought. To me, there is much more to a relationship than being showered with presents, while your partner is not actually present.” – Dyo
‘Can’t Buy My Love’ finds Dyo making a definitive statement that there’s no way to gain her heart using money or materialism.
Apparently, a man has no chance with her if he doesn’t come with respect, first and foremost. Respect is something she values as priceless and not a name on a bag or a price on a tag.
Later, she admits that even if a man has her name scripted on the side of a jet, she still wouldn’t break her neck because her love isn’t for sale.
Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji’s name is relatively new. But, behind the scenes, she is well established as a multi-platinum selling songwriter who has been nominated for an Ivor Novello award.
Dyo’s “Can’t Buy My Love” single follows on the heels of her “Go All the Way” song featuring Mr Eazi.
