‘Expectations’ tells the tale of a woman who’s in a committed relationship with a guy she’s head-over-heels in love with. One night, she expected him to come home so they can cuddle in each other’s arms. But when he doesn’t come home when she expected him to she feels some type of way.
Matter of fact, she feels disrespected that she has to sleep in a cold bed by herself. In the morning, when she wakes up, she wonders why she even expected anything from him because expecting too much from anyone oftentimes leads to disappointments.
‘Expectations’ contains a relatable storyline, gorgeous pop vocals, and juicy instrumentation flavored with a sensual R&B taste.
