ANGEL! is an up-and-coming LA-based singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and director from Seattle, WA. Not too long ago, he released a lovely disco-pop single, titled, “Brittney White.”
ANGEL! – “Brittney White” music video
‘Brittney White’ finds ANGEL! singing of the cold hard truths of unfulfilled potential. The likable tune contains sad lyrics and boyish tenor vocals that will resonate well with Steve Lacy, The Weeknd, and Miguel. Furthermore, “Brittney White” possesses pounding drums and strings, a groovy bassline, live synths, and guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with a dirty retro and disco-pop vibration. Randy Urbanski (Ye, Beyoncé) provides a top-notch mix, combining all of the rich layers into sweet synchronicity.
“You could’ve been anything you want in this world, but you paid for the ride.”
At the age of 16, ANGEL! signed to a local label named Black Umbrella and began opening sold-out shows and making music more than going to school. He ran a recording studio at his family’s home. At 18, he was kicked out and disowned by his father and spent the rest of the year homeless. After that, ANGEL! taught himself how to play guitar, keys, bass, and drums, and how to sing.
