‘Nudes’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young woman who finds herself scrolling through her phone, looking at nude pictures of herself. Apparently, she previously sent those same pictures to her first love, who has already found someone new to love. While thinking about all the good times they shared together in the past, she realizes she’s alone and doesn’t have anyone to send her nude photos to.
‘Nudes’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. The likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with an alternative-pop aroma. Also, the song hints at heartbreak and frustration, glossed over by sarcasm.
