‘KEEP IT’ reflects Kid Culture’s penchant for shimmering soundscapes architected with ethereal beats and glossy synths. Above this glistening backdrop, his lyrics evoke memorable imagery as he admits, “I left my heart in your glove compartment.” Meanwhile, he locks into a call-and-response with an old-school sample on the chorus, “All of your problems girl, I don’t want any part…you can keep it.” Furthermore, “KEEP IT” paves the way for much more to come from Kid Culture in 2023 as he puts the finishing touches on his forthcoming album.

As an artist, producer, and songwriter, Kid Culture pushes the game from every angle. The Washington-born and New York-based phenomenon deliver a scorching signature style simultaneously rooted in both old-school crate digging and 21st-century attitude leveled up with unapologetic and undeniable creativity.

Growing up in the small town of Federal Way, WA, Kid Culture wholeheartedly embraced music at a young age by way of his parents. His father always kept a studio in the house where Kid learned how to write and produce. He developed his stage presence by playing drums in front of the church congregation where his father sang and preached.

Classics such as Kanye West’s “Late Registration” soundtracked his formative years everywhere from the car to the skate park. Eventually, he immersed himself in the craft of creating beats. Rather than start on a laptop, he cooked up his very first productions on a vintage keyboard with a floppy disc. His journey twisted and turned. During high school, he wound up in Los Angeles, co-writing and producing for some of the biggest names in the world, including Justin Bieber, Cordae, Eminem, Stevie Wonder, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Miguel, Terrace Martin, and more. However, it would only be the first act for Kid Culture. Now, the GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-hyphenate carves out his own lane on his 2023 debut project for Epic Records.
