Aloe Blacc – “Wake Me Up” Live Performance [VEVO]

“Feeling my way through the darkness, guided by a beating heart. I can’t tell where the journey will end but I know where to start. They tell me I’m too young to understand. They say I’m caught up in a dream. Well, life will pass me by if I don’t open up my eyes. Well, that’s fine by me. So wake me up when it’s all over when I’m wiser and I’m older. All this time I was finding myself and I didn’t know I was lost.” – lyrics

Aloe Blacc sings from his heart while performing a heartfelt, stripped-down acoustic version of his “Wake Me Up” single.

So far, the lovable tune has accumulated more than 23M views via YouTube.

The audiovisual for the original version has amassed over 1B views via YouTube. Also, the song has developed into one of the most inspiring tracks of the last decade.

Unfortunately, Avicii’s 2018 death left a sizable hole in the music.

But on this year’s “Tim”, a release of tracks the young producer had been working on prior to his passing, gave us another valuable collaboration.

Apparently, he and Aloe Blacc paired up for the track, “SOS”.
