Tessa Violet is an indie-pop artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Not too long ago, she released a cute music video for “Crush”, an adorable single from her upcoming album, entitled, “Bad Ideas”, available on the third of August.

Tessa Violet – “Crush”

“I can’t focus on what needs to get done. I’m on notice hoping that you don’t run. You think I’m tepid but I’m misdiagnosed. ‘Cause I’m a stalker I seen all of your posts. And I’m just trying to play it cool now. But that’s not what I want to do now. And I’m not trying to be with you now. But I could be your crush.”

The Jordan Harms- and Isaac White-directed video begins with the artist strolling down an aisle with a shopping cart. Up ahead, she sees her crush, a male employee, putting goods on the shelf.

He notices that she’s looking at him. So he quickly fixes two breadcrumbs packages and leaves without saying a word. Violet is crushed, left in disbelief that her crush would do such a thing.

The following scenes show her performing in front of the frozen food section, on top of the refrigerated displays, and behind an active cash register.
