“I started as a producer and I write hooks for people. But ‘Martian‘ was the first song I wrote with the intention of using it for myself. I made it to display my lyrical ability. It has a dark and spacey vibe to it. Also, its creation was inspired by artists such as Earl Sweatshirt, early Tyler, the Creator, and MF DOOM, who are all heavy musical influences.” – Red Velvet Papi stated

‘Martian’ contains a spacey narrative and conversational raps. Also, the abstract tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with hip-hop and rap elements.
