‘Boy’s a liar Pt. 2’ tells a heartfelt tale about a vulnerable young woman who doesn’t know if she’s good enough for an untrustworthy guy who she deals with on the low. She doesn’t know what to call it, but the love the guy has for her isn’t real love, it’s something else. But still, she needs to ask him, “Did you ever feel me? Would you ever picture us? Take a look inside your heart, is there any room for me?” Later, she mentions him getting down on one knee, but that’s too far-fetched. All she wants this guy to do is hold her tight at night and compliment her when she’s looking good. Nothing more nothing less.
This week, “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” earned PinkPantheress and Ice Spice the #1 spot on the Mediabase Rhythmic Radio Chart.
