Paolo Nutini – “Through The Echoes” single

“I’m always wondering what it would be like to die? She asks me why? I always smile when I feel like I’m gonna cry. She asks me why? Over the cliff and phantom sense, she’s always offering me her hand. I hear her coming through the echoes straight to me, over and over again. She’s always wondering what it would feel like to fly. I ask her why? She says everything that she sees is shiners in the sky, up there shining.” – lyrics

‘Through The Echoes’ is a memorable tune in the lineage of Ben E. King and Otis Redding. Paolo Nutini’s vocal delivery reminds listeners why he got snatched up by Atlantic in the first place. The sentimental tune contains a relatable narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Hozier, Lewis Capaldi, and George Ezra.

‘Through The Echoes’ also possesses guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with indie-rock, alternative pop,  and contemporary folk elements. Furthermore, “Through The Echoes” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Paolo Nutini’s upcoming album, entitled, “Last Night In The Bittersweet,” available on July 1, 2022, via Atlantic Records.
