Naomi Vaughn is the latest addition to the Swedish wave of R&B stars. She grew up in a household with a musically inclined mother and a father who worked as a roots-reggae DJ during the ‘90s. Naomi grew up listening to The Roots, Nas, Common, and Ms. Lauryn Hill. Hip-hop played a big part in her eventually falling in love with songwriting and lyrics. After years of writing songs for other artists, and helping them tell their stories – Naomi is finally ready to give a voice to her own story.
