In 2013, Levitan and Dawson met in Los Angeles after Levitan moved from New York City. Harbored feelings and trauma each had hidden away for a lifetime floated to the surface during their studio sessions. Each story, each moment in their lives they recorded into a lyric, song, and vision. Therefore, their music contains darkness, emotions, and honesty.
