Meghan Trainor – “Nice to Meet Ya” music video featuring Nicki Minaj
“I used my makeup to hide. Tellin’ you there ain’t nothin’ I haven’t tried. Changed my hair, but I couldn’t change up my mind. You know I’ve been tryna work it. You know ain’t nobody perfect. Go ahead, go talk about me. You don’t know the half of the sh*t that I’ve said. Go ahead and tell them whatever you heard. I look different on the surface. You know ain’t nobody perfect.” – lyrics
The colorful business-themed audiovisual was directed by Matthew Cullen (Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Kygo, Weezer). Also, Meghan Trainor penned the treatment, which was inspired by one of her favorite movies—the 1988 cult classic (“Working Girl”).

“TREAT MYSELF” album
“#TREATMYSELF has been such a crazy long chapter in my life. I’m so happy and grateful it’s finally out. I’ve been writing songs for three years and have changed and grown so much as a songwriter and a person. When I started this album, I was in a dark place of anxiety, fear, and self-doubt. I’ve evolved so much with these songs. I’ve been learning how to be nicer to myself and love myself more. Also, I married the love of my life—Daryl Sabara. My family wrote a lot of these songs with me and are singing backgrounds on almost every song. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to it. It means the world to me. Love u all.” – Meghan Trainor
‘TREAT MYSELF’ contains the platinum smash—“No Excuses”, “Nice to Meet Ya” [Nicki Minaj], “Genetics” [feat. Pussycat Dolls], “After You” [feat. AJ Mitchell], and “Wave” [feat. Mike Sabath]. Furthermore, Meghan Trainor will perform new music and classics on the road in arenas and amphitheaters everywhere throughout 2020 with Maroon 5.
