Lxandra – “Dip My Heart in Confetti” music video
“I’m getting out of the struggle, out of this scene. Out of these chains that are choking and dragging me down. You’re dragging me down. I’m done with the craving, thinking of you, walking on glass that you broke in my room. I’m done. You’re slowing me down.” – lyrics
The lovely audiovisual, self-directed by Lxandra, finds the effervescent star dancing her heartache away in stunning fashion.
‘Dip My Heart in Confetti’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and well-placed melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses hard-hitting instrumentation scented with a commercial pop aroma.
“It’s about that feeling when you try to force yourself to forget about something or someone. It works for one night, maybe. But it’s not really useful in the long run. You just get caught up in a loop and never get completely out of it. Your heart never heals. But sometimes it’s simply exactly what you need; dress up, get out, feel good for a moment, and dip your heart in confetti.” – Lxandra
Lxandra is a name you should remember. With each release, she continues to establish herself as an exciting artist to watch.
The turning point in her life happened in 2015 when she visited Finnish producer Perttu Kurttila in Berlin.
Ever since then, her music has amassed millions of streams online via various platforms.
