‘Lay It On Me’ tells an interesting tale of a young guy who waits to hear something that his significant other is about to tell him.
Apparently, they are cool with each other, but this revealing information might disturb his fairytale outlook of their relationship.
‘Lay It On Me’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and groovy instrumentation flavored with an urban-pop aroma.

“My creative process was very different this time around. We rented a house and completed the bulk of the project there. It was dark, cold, and empty. I escaped from any and all distractions from the outside world and went into a deep creative space. ‘Lay It On Me’ comes at the part of the album where you’re confused and find yourself questioning someone’s loyalty. ‘Last Night I Lost Reason’ comes towards the end of the album. It’s a turning point for my ego and it represents regaining your confidence after it’s been stripped away. No more doubt, no more love.” – Kevin George
‘Lay It On Me’ and “Last Night I Lost Reason” will be featured on Kevin George’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “My Darlings a Demon”, available August 9, 2019.
The anticipated project focuses on betrayal, juxtaposition, and dishonor in love.
Kevin created the project outside of his creative comfort zone. He recorded and wrote for the first time outside of his bedroom and collaborated with other producers and musicians.

Not too long ago, Kevin George released his major-label debut EP, entitled, “Hopeless Romantic”.
The likable project featured the buzzing releases, “Nobody Knows You Anymore” and “Call Me When You’re Sober”.
Also, it was accompanied by the short documentary film, “Kevin George – The Untold Story”, which shed light on the personal journey that led to George’s signing with Young Forever/Island Records.
