Jamal Black is a rapper from Worcester, MA. Not too long ago, he released a groovy rap tune, entitled, “Mine”, featuring Tati.

Jamal Black – “Mine” featuring Tati

“I’m tired of the lying and I’m hoping for the truth. I built myself a wall but could break it down for you. I thought that you were different but I’m thinking you’re the same. You said you wanted me but then you wanted me to change. So go up in your phone delete my number and my name.” – lyrics

‘Mine’ tells an interesting tale of a young woman who struggles with the fact that her significant other is having a difficult time committing to their relationship.

Apparently, she’s been listening to the word around town which states that her man has been fooling around with a few promiscuous females on the low.

Therefore, the young woman wants clarity and desires to know if she is wasting her time with him.

“I wrote this song within a day of meeting Tati. Her voice was amazing and I couldn’t wait to work with her. One of my first attempts at writing for a singer and I think it came out amazing.” – Jamal Black

‘Mine’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and melodic instrumentation flavored with thudding drums and other hip-hop elements.

We recommend adding Jamal Black’s “Mine” single to your personal playlist. Also, let us know how you feel about it in the comment section below.
