GXTP  & Poo Bear – “Lust & Purity” Video Still

GXTP’s “Lust & Purity” Single: An Anthemic Rock Track that Everyone Is Talking About

GXTP is a dynamic three-piece rock group comprising Jason Paul, Sasha Sirota, and Triple Sixx. Not too long ago, they released an anthemic rock track, “Lust & Purity.”

GXTP – “Lust & Purity” (Music Video)

“I had a blast filming the music video ‘Lust and Purity’ from GXTP’s new album ‘Smoke and Mirrors.’ Aside from getting to work with the incredibly talented Poo Bear and Sasha Sirota, I also got to live out my dream of having a wrestling action figure (which I still don’t have) despite being a WCW Champion.” – David Arquette stated

The accompanying visual, inspired by classic ‘90s films like “Small Soldiers” and “Toy Story,” is an action-packed journey seen through a pint-sized lens where viewers are taken inside a toy box as GXTP comes to life as action figures. Finding themselves in a battle against a sinister chimp and feisty devil plotting their demise, the group must work together, with the help of actor David Arquette, to take them down.

“Lust & Purity” is an anthemic track backed by a driving drum beat and dynamic guitar riffs. The song encourages listeners to allow the darkness and light within themselves to co-exist. Furthermore, “Lust & Purity” is featured on GXTP’s debut album, “Smoke & Mirrors,” with Poo Bear, an Atlanta-raised singer-songwriter from Connecticut.

On “Smoke & Mirrors,” GXTP hone in on their motto as “the greatest f****** rock band of all time,” spotlighting various rock elements with the perfect amount of comedic relief.

The project — led by multi-platinum and GRAMMY-nominated producers Jason Paul and Sasha Sirota, along with Triple Sixx — provided the group of creatives an opportunity to tap into the rock world in a way they had not yet explored. The result is an anthemic collection of catchy hooks and heavy beats including “Lust & Purity” and explosive track “Contraband” featuring the legendary Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe, which quickly climbed up the Top 40 Mediabase Active Rock chart.

Also on the album is the energetic “Quiet Riot” featuring iconic keyboardist and Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan, debut single “Foresight,” and the adrenaline-fueled “Accusation,” which have been quickly adding to the band’s over 7.5 million global streams.

“Smoke & Mirrors” was produced by the band with all members contributing vocals and Sasha performing guitar, bass, drums, and keys throughout. “Smoke & Mirrors” features additional production on select tracks from Brent Kolatalo (Kendrick Lamar, Drake) and was mixed by Tom Lord-Alge (Blink-182, The Rolling Stones) and mastered by Ted Jensen (Green Day, Metallica) at Sterling Sound Studios.

Formed to not only provide audiences with unparalleled writing and musicianship but to be an almost reflection of society unto itself, GXTP was conceptualized during the pandemic when the nation fought and scrambled for supplies and is an abbreviation for what the news and communities placed the most importance on guns and toilet paper.

The project features two powerhouse songwriters and producers who have both previously held top spots on Billboard’s R&B Producers charts with Jason being known for having penned and produced some of the biggest hits by Justin Bieber, Maluma, and J Balvin among others. At the same time, Sasha has worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Zac Brown Band, and Drake. Applying the same rules and quality standards they hold for their various projects, GXTP’s debut album is yet another masterpiece to add to their growing catalog.
