‘Intoxicated’ tells a heartfelt tale of a young woman who wants to introduce “never-seen-before-things” to her significant other. Apparently, her partner’s energy matches hers, and their conversation is the bomb. Therefore, she promises to provide her companion with a non-stop flow of non-toxic love. Later, she admits that she doesn’t need liquor when she has her partner by her side.
‘Intoxicated’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with a strong contemporary R&B aroma. Furthermore, “Intoxicated” opens the way for Gen Bello’s latest electro-pop single, entitled, “Desire“.

“I actually wrote ‘Desire’ two years ago and decided to officially work on it last year. I love ‘Desire’. It’s a song about craving someone that you know isn’t good for you. ‘Desire’ is a fun, sexy song about not being able to resist someone. I wrote this song reflecting on a situation that I had with someone in college. I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the lyrics in ‘Desire’.” – Gen Bello
