‘Dear Mom’ finds Gen Bello expressing her undying love for her mother. Apparently, her mom is a caring person who is more concerned with the needs of others than her own. Therefore, Gen is grateful to be the daughter of a considerate and nurturing parent who has brought her peace.
‘Dear Mom’ contains a sentimental storyline, pleasing vocals, and rich harmonies. Also, the adorable tune possesses mellow instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and neo-soul elements. Furthermore, “Dear Mom” follows hot on the heels of Bello’s “Desire” and “Intoxicated” singles.
