ÊMIA is the indie-pop project of Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer, Anh Le. Not too long ago, she released a wonderful pop tune, entitled, “All I Do”.

ÊMIA – “All I Do”

“Just ‘cause I said I can’t be with you, no, that don’t mean I don’t want to ‘cause you’re in my head. I think about you when he’s not around. I let myself miss you and I know that this might be an issue to be hoping that you haven’t really let me go. Does it help to know that I still want you? Or am I just saying things that you don’t need to know?” – lyrics

‘All I Do’ is the lead single from ÊMIA’s upcoming debut EP, entitled, “Little Secret”. The bubbly song tells an interesting tale of a young woman who struggles to decide what she wants in a complicated relationship.

‘All I Do’ contains a relatable storyline and ear-welcoming vocals. Also, the song possesses robust instrumentation flavored with modern dance and electro-pop elements.

“The song was written as a way to deal with the guilt and also as a way to poke fun at me for being a very confusing girl. I wanted to write something that was self-aware, a little self-deprecating but also tongue-in-cheek. I know it doesn’t really paint me as the good guy, but that’s what I love about music. I don’t have to be the good guy. I could just be the girl who doesn’t know what she wants and has to deal with the hole that she’s dug herself.” – ÊMIA

ÊMIA’s life has been a series of relocations, but the internet has always been her home. From living-room YouTube covers to SoundCloud singles, she’s no stranger to making music that resonates with music lovers worldwide.
