Please introduce yourself.

EJ: Hi, how are you? I am EJ and I’m the resident DJ for Formula E, as well as signed to Garuda.

What is life like where you live?

EJ: I live in London. I love living here, it’s a great city to be in. Loads going on, although it’s nice to get to travel and experience new cultures as well.

Who are some of your musical influences?

EJ: Eric Prydz, Slipmatt, Guns & Roses, and more recently, Camelphat. I really love not only listening to those progressive sounds but creating those too.

What projects are you currently working on?

EJ: “Formula E The Soundtrack Vol 2” will be released, compiled, and mixed by myself, and a load of singles will be released later this year.

Performing (LIVE) must be exciting. What’s your most memorable performance moment?

EJ: DJing at Space in Ibiza. I have a lot of history with the club and to play there was an honor.

Each festival has its own unique quality. Out of them all, what’s your favorite festival to play at and why?

EJ: I used to play at Creamfields in the UK a lot. The Liverpool crowd is always f**king wicked. I hope to play there again in the future.

What advice would you give to an up-and-coming DJ/producer?

EJ: Never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever give up!

What’s the strangest advice you have ever gotten?

EJ: Never eat yellow snow.

So far, what’s your greatest accomplishment?

EJ: Being the first DJ to perform to a dancing crowd of men and women in Saudi Arabia was pretty cool. The country has gone through some radical changes and progressions these past few years.

When it’s all said and done…when people mention your name—what will they say?

EJ: God, that’s a tough question. Hopefully, “His music changed my life”, as many artists have done for me.

Thanks for a great interview. As an honored guest, is there anything else you would like to say?

EJ: Thank you for all the support so far. Please check out my Podcast EJ Radio, which gives you a real feel for what I love to play at the moment. Also, I’ll be on tour all over the globe with the FE team hitting Mexico, Morocco, China, Italy, France, our first London show and more. You can keep track over on my Facebook. Enjoy!
