Chloe Lilac releases a lyric video for her “Obvious” single

Chloe Lilac is a rising singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. Not too long ago, she released a lyric video for her “Obvious” single, via RCA Records.

Chloe Lilac – “Obvious” lyric video

“You don’t make it obvious. I wonder if you love me like your body does. To have you for one night just wouldn’t be enough. I’m anxious ‘cause it’s never been as good as us. ‘Cause you don’t make it obvious and you don’t ever really open up to me. And I don’t wanna end up as a casualty. If I’m the one you say that you been thinking of then make it obvious.” – lyrics

‘Obvious’ tells a heartfelt tale of a young woman who shares a problematic relationship with her significant other. Apparently, she is uncertain about how her companion feels about her. Therefore, she hints that he might be skating on thin ice if he doesn’t make his feelings clear or do something to display his love.

‘Obvious’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and rich harmonies. Also, the bittersweet tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with an alternative R&B aroma. Furthermore, “Obvious” serves as a fantastic presentation to what listeners can expect to hear on Chloe’s Lilac’s upcoming sophomore EP, due later this year.

“‘Obvious’ is about being with someone that clearly doesn’t like you as much as you like them. Being in denial about it and then realizing you’re better than that bullsh*t.” – Chloe Lilac
