CHARLOTTE is a singer-songwriter from Hull, England. Not too long ago, she released a lyric video for her “Nervous” single.

I’m one of those people who’s never managed to get into a proper ‘grown-up’ relationship. This song’s about a time when I messed it up before I even got to the relationship stage with someone. The bubbly tune tells an interesting tale of a young woman who gets nervous whenever she’s around a special person who she desires to be with.
‘Nervous’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and lush instrumentation flavored with commercial pop and soul elements.

“There are four songs on the EP and I’m vulnerable in every one of them. That’s scary. I’m guilty of bottling up my emotions and when I was growing up I thought my feelings were unique to me. But I know now I was wrong and lots of people are going through similar struggles. I wish I had known that at the time. Hopefully at least one person will hear ‘I Tell Lies’ or ‘Just Me’ and realize they’re not alone.” – CHARLOTTE
CHARLOTTE got her big break last year when she was discovered by Grammy-nominated global hitmaker Toby Gad (Beyoncé, John Legend, Fergie).
After one writing session in LA, he offered to sign her immediately. Shortly afterward, she became the first artist and songwriter Gad signed to his publishing company.
