Caitlin Quisenberry unveils an empowering Country tune, entitled, “SOS”

Caitlin Quisenberry is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Denver, Colorado. Not too long ago, she unveiled an empowering Country tune, entitled, “SOS”.

“She’s probably sipping on her second Jack and diet coke. She’s probably laughing way too loud at your dirty jokes. I’m pretty sure you’re tellin’ her you’re single as can be. I bet that silly girl’s enough naive just to believe. You’re legit, different night same old… Shame on me for thinkin’ you would ever change. ‘Cause it’s plain to see I’ve taken way too long to say, I’m done with this.” – lyrics

‘SOS’ tells a bittersweet tale of a young woman who shares a problematic relationship with an untrustworthy boyfriend. Therefore, she vows to end their relationship because he will never change his cheating ways.

‘SOS’ contains a relatable narrative, pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the spirited tune possessives up-tempo instrumentation scented with a contemporary Country aroma. Furthermore, “SOS” has a lyrical vibe similar to Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” single.

“We’ve all had that relationship where we’ve put up with way too much. ‘SOS’ is a tribute to finally saying, enough is enough. The lyrics for ‘SOS’ are very clever as ‘S.O.S.’ stands for the same old sh**. But it’s a play on words and stays clean of expletives. From the moment this song starts, the upbeat tempo will make you want to dance, as it takes you on a ride through being cheated on. For me, it really moves my spirit—converting pain into power. I think that is what gives this song its depth and positive messaging while being sung in a celebratory and empowering way of finally gaining self-respect. My hope is that you will enjoy ‘SOS’ and it will give you a little lift during this uncertain time of discontent.” – Caitlin Quisenberry

‘SOS’ follows hot on the heels of Caitlin Quisenberry’s debut single, entitled, “Blue”.

‘Blue’ tells a tear-jerking tale of a young woman who comes to the conclusion that nothing lasts forever. Apparently, her relationship with her significant other began fresh and green like the color of grass in the Springtime. During this sentimental period, she was optimistic and experienced a golden sweet innocence. Later, the relationship evolved into a red burning fire that warmed her bed while she laid there cozy in her companion’s arms. But just like yesterday, their once-budding relationship is no more, and now she feels blue.

“As you all know, right now with what’s going on with COVID-19, it is a very uneasy time for all of us. The way I lift my spirits and keep my faith strong is through music. I believe music has the power and ability to let us forget about our current surroundings and get lost in the stories of songs.” – Caitlin Quisenberry
