Audrey releases a music video for her “Paper” single

Audrey is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter based in New Jersey. Not too long ago, she released a music video for her “Paper” single, produced/co-written with manager/producer, Anwar Sawyer.

Audrey – “Paper” music video

“Calling all the phonies, you already know me. Yes, I cut your Louis tag, you carry my body bag. I can’t even save, and if I love you then it’s all about the paper. And if I miss you then it’s all about the pay cut. And if I profit, would you pocket when I’m face up? Yeah, if I copped it. Would you leave your family for it, jump a counter, pull it for it?” – lyrics

‘Paper arrives on the heels of Audrey’s “Time” single.

The likable tune contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the song possesses boomin’ instrumentation scented with a  contemporary R&B aroma.

“Every day is sunny, indentured, but I’m super bright. I could make you super blind.”

“‘Paper’ is more in the vein of what’s coming next. This first project is just a tape of everything I’ve made this past year. So the overarching theme will be whatever you want to take from it.” – Audrey

Audrey is a name you should remember and an exciting artist to watch.

The expressive songstress set the precedent as one of the first female Korean-American R&B acts to break into mainstream culture.

Not too long ago, she was accepted to the Clive Davis Institute and enrolled in NYU, where she went to class during the day and recorded music into the early morning hours.

She soon made the decision to take a gap year and focus solely on her music career. Not too long ago, she inked a deal with Arista Records, the label originally started by Clive Davis.
