‘Don’t be salty. But if it ain’t about the money please don’t call me, yeah. ‘Cause I’m grindin’, on the stage or in the booth is where you’ll find me.” – lyrics
‘Secure the Bag’ tells the tale of an independent young woman who is focused on padding her bank account with money. Apparently, admirers can miss her with the drama and small talk because she’s doing big things and living her best life.
‘Secure the Bag’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and rich harmonies. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and modern hip-hop elements.
“‘Secure the Bag’ is about getting that money and stacking your coin. Also, it’s about stepping out of your shell and being confident in yourself.” – Anaya Lovenote
Anaya Lovenote grew up in the foster care system, where she faced misplacement and harsh treatment from foster families. During that time, she turned to music to cope with her misfortunes by singing songs from legends such as Monica, Whitney Houston, and Toni Braxton.
Anaya is a firm believer in fighting for your dreams and giving back to society. Usually, she donates her time to Earth Wind and Fire’s Philip Bailey’s charity, Music is Unity Foundation.
Through her music, Anaya continues to show others that your past can be your growth. Also, she’s always finding ways to encourage others to pursue what their hearts desire. Furthermore, she will be joining the Ying Yang Twins on the West Coast leg of the Millennium Tour featuring Omarion, Ashanti, Bow Wow, Chingy, and Soulja Boy.
