‘Seeing Stars’ finds Amyr rapping about cutting off nonproductive friends, staying grounded, spending thousands, and living life. Also, he mentions teaching his sons how to stack, save, and count money. Later, he let it be known, “They know Amyr, b*tch, I’m the prince, I told ‘em crown me.”

‘Seeing Stars’ contains an urban-street narrative, conversational rap vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Shy Billz, Slime Krime, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk. The likable tune possesses thudding drum-laden instrumentation flavored with a contemporary rap vibration. Furthermore, “Seeing Stars” follows mildly on the heels of Amyr’s previously released album, entitled, “Proud of Me.”

“Only time I drop down to my knees is when I’m praying to the one who created me.”

“‘Seeing Stars’ is about valuable lessons that are taught in life. Sometimes you lose friends and people that don’t have your best interest at heart. So, the song comes from the heart and my life experiences. As a father, my music is to teach my kids so they don’t have to go through some of the things I’ve been through in my life.” – Amyr explained
