Amilli releases a nice-looking video for her “Stuck in My Head” single

Amilli (Amelie Flörke) is a rising singer-songwriter from Bochum, Germany. Not too long ago, she released a nice-looking video for her “Stuck in My Head” single. The video finds Amilli and her gang having the time of their lives at an abandoned hotel area. Fast camera pans and up-sped performances give the song the necessary portion of action and fun.

“‘Stuck In My Head’ lives from the thought that I just wanted to make songs that make you feel good and radiate self-confidence. One has no desire for commitment and wants to be independent, but this one person arouses more interest than intended. The person pulls you under their spell and you just can’t get them out of your head.” – Amilli explained

‘Stuck In My Head’ is a very confident, fun song about being in control of a casual relationship. Going with the flow rather than putting any expectations on it. The song presents a more personal side of Amilli, who addresses her significant other, “Why are you still stuck in my head? That wasn’t part of the plan.”

‘Stuck In My Head’ contains a relatable narrative, a catchy hook line, and ear-pleasing vocals. The likable tune possesses driving drum n bass-laden instrumentation flavored with electro-pop and indie electronic elements. Furthermore, “Stuck in My Head” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Amilli’s upcoming debut album, set to be released this year.

“Set me free, I’m trapped in my feelings.”

“I never really wrote a song or thought about being a singer because maybe I didn’t have enough confidence, or it just wasn’t in my mind. Then I randomly sat in a basement with some friends and recorded my first song, just for fun.” – Amilli explained

Leo Müller-Klönne, also from Bochum, made his name in a small indie band. He got in touch with Amilli off the back of that very first upload, writing to her to say, “Hey, I love this song – let’s make music together.” This chance digital meeting blossomed into a fruitful creative partnership, the kind that doesn’t come along all that often. “We met up and instantly clicked. I just fell in love with making music and writing songs. We don’t really have to talk because we just know what the other person means.”

The two arranged to make music and quickly came up with “Rarri.” An award by big German Radio 1LIVE, playing shows with Giant Rooks, festivals from Lollapalooza to Reeperbahn Festival followed. Later, Amilli cut her teeth with two acclaimed EPs. Now, she’s readying her debut album. Made in her hometown and in a small cabin in the German forest, she tried to avoid being too influenced by any outside forces. “There’s so much content everywhere – like you scroll through Tiktok, you have Instagram and there’s just so much. I think what inspires me the most is not being on my phone, not listening to a lot of music when I’m in the process: it lets me work as intuitively as possible.”
