“Hey, lover, I’m gonna turn the lights out on us. Not the girl you thought I was. Lover, this is Friday love, no Sunday crush.  I can’t promise I won’t f**k this up. I’m not the girl you thought I was. I’ll make you go (ah-ah-ah). I’m not the girl that falls in love. If you’re gonna steal my heart, steal my heart. Go slow.” – lyrics

‘Go Slow’ tells an appealing tale of a young woman who explores the delicate evolution of brand new love. Apparently, even though she’s at a vulnerable point in her life, she’s still courageous enough to expose her true self to her new lover. Also, she lets go of her inhibitions before leaping into the throes of passion.

‘Go Slow’ contains a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and rich harmonies. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with an electro-pop aroma.

“I like to think that on a very rare occasion, I can be the confident person that I envision in my head. ‘Go Slow’ is that song for me. It’s the mirror image of the scared and insecure human looking back. It’s the self-assured, self- aware, and fearless version of self. The one that doesn’t take no for an answer. The girl that will go up to anyone in any place and have a conversation and not because they aren’t afraid, but because they stare their fears in the face and go right through. This song is meant to inspire and empower. I think of it as my own personal female anthem.” – Alessia Balasbas

‘Go Slow’ follows on the heels of A is for Arrows’ debut single, entitled, WITHOUT YOU, and more recently, ROSES, a delicate love song showcasing elegant vocals and crystalline beats.
