U.N. Jefferson is an R&B/Soul band based in Toronto, Canada. Not too long ago, they released a music video for “Testify”, a high-spirited single from their self-titled EP.
U.N. Jefferson – “Testify”
“I got this feeling in my bones, I can feel it in my soul. If you with me then you know that you gonna believe. Yeah, there’s something going on, I can feel it getting strong, let me know if you feel me.” – lyrics
The Alex Stephenson-directed video finds the band’s frontman Ajay Massey performing inside a graffiti-plagued area. He’s dressed in a black and white outfit and inside his hand is a wired microphone. As he sings into the mic, other members of the band carry away speakers. Also, the following scenes show Massey performing inside a building, on a rooftop, and inside a room filled with speakers.
‘Testify’ contains a relatable storyline and energetic vocals. Also, it possesses robust instrumentation perfumed with a traditional soul aroma blended with modern R&B.
