“Relationships are like shoes. You’ll have to try on a few before one fits just right. I’ve been through my fair share of relationships and they come in all shapes and sizes, each with their good and bad. I wrote ‘Shoes’ right after a breakup and I pictured me ‘now’ telling my younger self to just forget about those broken shoes and get a new pair. One day the fit will be just right. It’s okay to say goodbye.” – Sydni Cole explained

‘Shoes’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocalization, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Lindsay Ell, Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert. The likable tune possesses vibrant instrumentation flavored with a contemporary Country vibration. Furthermore, “Shoes” follows mildly on the heels of Sydni Cole’s debut single, entitled, “Dirt Road Daisy.”

“I started writing songs as an outlet for dealing with whatever life had thrown at me. Creating music has been my own personal therapy. In January 2020, I decided to take a vulnerable leap of faith to share my music and put out my first YouTube video. The response from all over the world warmed my heart and touched my soul as I received messages from people who related to my songs and let me know how much they helped them. My hope is that my music uplifts, empowers, and inspires people.” – Sydni Cole stated

Sydni Cole is a Country and Contemporary Christian artist who grew up in Northern California and Illinois before making Nashville, TN her home.
