Shelly Perel – “View” lyric video
“Here we go again, you know I don’t play pretend. Kiss me, baby, hold me, love me, show me you’re the man. Don’t make me go out the door looking for someone who understands it better than you can. And good is not enough, you know I’m not in a rush. Baby, make my skin glow, do that thing that makes me blush. Don’t make me go and bag for it, just give it all you got, make me feel so wild.” – lyrics
‘View’ tells an intriguing tale about a young woman who finds herself staring at an attractive guy who recently entered a room she is chilling in. Apparently, the guy is her date and she desires to have him in more ways than one. Later, she tells him, “You know I dressed up just for you. You know that you are the only one who can see this view. Touch me gently, make it yours. We got all night and you got so much to explore.”
‘View’ contains a sensual narrative and pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, and Doja Cat. The likable tune possesses thudding drums and harmonious bass-laden instrumentation seasoned with electro-pop, contemporary, and disco dance ingredients. Furthermore, “View” serves as a savory taste of what listeners can expect to hear from Shelly Perel in the near future as she continues to release new music.
“Starting with my neck and going down to my arm, Baby, how I like it when you turn me around.”
”I wrote this song after the best first date I ever had! It’s about when everything is working out, there are sparks in the air, and you just know that this is the person you should be with (needless to say that he and I have been together for a year now). A good starting point for a good date is feeling great and knowing what you want, and not being afraid to ask for it.” – Shelly Perel explained
