PM – “Touch It” single
“B*tch, I’m attractive, and I’m a natural. Only high class got mink on my lashes. My feet on his dash, he buys me high fashion. We just left a meeting and we got ‘em gaggin’. Told ‘em we don’t need a boss, you can’t put us on staff. We don’t need a label, we get to the bag. The Mase’ outside and I drive it fast. These b*tches big mad ‘cause we got a big bag.” – lyrics
‘Touch It’ tells a luxurious tale of two money-getting women who are living their best lives in style. Apparently, they drive convertible coupes, and their necks and wrists are drowning in water that’s dripping like Niagara Falls. Later, they admit that they do what they do for “the girls who don’t answer the text unless he agreeing to spoil her.”
“Our music is different or unique because we cross two different nationalities without you ever knowing. Without putting a picture to our faces you wouldn’t know that you have a Black-American and an Asian-American. We do this so easily because we had the same upbringing and the same goals in life ‘to not be a product of our environment.’ We strive for greatness and wealth every day by any means necessary we gon’ ‘GET IT’ we gotta ‘TOUCH IT’ this money, regardless. ‘GET TO THE MONEY WE GOTTA TOUCH’.” – PM
PM is a name you should remember. With each release, they continue to establish themselves as an exciting new hip-hop act. The entertaining duo consists of Phi and Meisha; their stage name (“PM”) contains the first letter of their names. Their goal is to provide a sound that will curate a language that will radiate universally and to put more boss women on the map in the industry.
“Touch It” single
‘Touch It’ follows on the heels of PM’s debut single, entitled, “Get It”. The likable tune contains a relatable storyline, conversational rap vocals, and braggadocious wordplay. Also, it possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with contemporary rap and trap elements.
