“I just want to love you right. That’s all I wanna do. I just wanna hold you tight. These feelings – they are true. And I know that I can’t help myself – in these moments they won’t last. I just wanna love you right, to love you right. How you wanna be loved, I will love you. How you wanna be held, let me hold you. And when you’re away, see, time, it moves so slow. And I, I fall more in love with each day.” – lyrics
‘Love You Right’ tells a heartfelt tale about a young guy who appreciates the relationship he shares with his significant other. Apparently, he wants to love his partner the way she wants to be loved, not the way he thinks he should love her. His willingness to submit or surrender to their love showcases his vulnerability and desire to love his companion the right way. Later, he tells his significant other, “Just one touch and I’m losing my breath. Your embrace, it drives me wild just like the first time.”

‘Love You Right’ contains an evergreen narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and sugar-sweet melodies that will resonate well with fans of Sam Smith, Michael Kiwanuka, and Aloe Blacc. The emotional tune possesses cinematic string and violin-laden instrumentation flavored with Adult Contemporary, Twee pop, and classic R&B elements. Furthermore, “Love You Right” serves as the first taste of what’s to come for Osasioo and signals a budding R&B star in the making. Also, the song is featured on his four-track debut EP, entitled, “Lovetales & Pancakes.”
