“I wrote this song because I realized that all my life, I had my head in the future. I’ve never been satisfied no matter how much I had achieved all the goals I wanted. I was always thinking about the next step. This year, I realized that there is value in clichés like the classic—living in the present, and I realized that I never really lived in the moment. I’m still learning to hold my anxieties, but as I learn, I leave this song with you, my toast to good times.” – Nonô explained

‘Good Times’ contains a relatable narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with music lovers worldwide. Nonô sings with passion, “Got tired of waiting all my life, finally saw I got the good times right here. The grass is greener on my side, and all I need is just the good times right here.” The dancefloor-ready tune possesses luxurious instrumentation flavored with electro-dance and EDM elements. Furthermore, “Good Times” follows mildly on the heels of Nonô’s previously released single, “Lovesick.”

Nonô – “Lovesick” music video

“‘Lovesick’ is about heartbreak, Saudade, and a little bit of drama. It’s about when your heart physically hurts from being away from the ones you love. The main inspiration for this song happened when I had just moved to London from Brazil. I had been in a relationship for the previous three years, and after a couple of months of trying to make long-distance work, we broke up. Well, if there’s one thing I can do is hold a grudge. So, after five years of resentment, ‘Lovesick’ was born with the help of the amazing Lewis Thompson and Karen Poole. It’s my love letter to anyone whose heart ever needed an intravenous disco ball.” – Nonô explained

‘Lovesick’ contains a post-relationship-based narrative and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Ella Henderson, Bebe Rexha, and Icona Pop. The high-energy tune possesses soaring breakdowns and pumping bass-laden instrumentation flavored with contemporary dance and electro-pop elements. Furthermore, “Lovesick” is the latest in a long line of revered singles Nonô has released this year, following on from “All Day” with Welshy, “Time To Groove” with Majestic, “Deep” with Example and Bou, and “Sky High” with Alok.
