MICHA (@whoelsebutmicha) is a rising Dutch singer-songwriter and musician. Not too long ago, he released a gloomy pop single, “Little Man,” via LV Music. The song is MICHA’s most powerful track yet, and loneliness vanishes under its powerful melody.

“Little Man” is a straight road to MICHA’s heart. The song was written from the perspective of his mother, who can’t help her son from going through a dark time, wondering when he’ll come out of it. An honest song for December, because even during the Holiday season, there is still loneliness. MICHA went on to say, “This is the most personal song I’ve ever written, so I’m pretty nervous.” Later, he sings with passion, “She said, ‘Pull yourself together, you’ve never written in a month. It’s like you’re always in your bedroom hopeless, sleeping off the dreams you used to want.’”
“Little Man” contains ear-pleasing vocals, a sad narrative, and a moody guitar-driven instrumentation that will surely resonate well with fans of Ed Sheeran, James Arthur, and Lewis Capaldi.

MICHA’s musical taste varies from Chet Baker to Jon Bellion. Before the pandemic, he was part of a duo called Micha and Julia. In a very short amount of time, they were able to land their songs on notable Apple and Spotify playlists such as New Music Daily, New Music Friday, and New in Singer/Songwriter. They were also able to accumulate over 2.5M streams in less than a year. They played the bigger festivals in The Netherlands such as the Lowlands, and Bevrijdings festival, and opened for a few bigger acts. But when Covid hit, they decided to focus on their careers as solo artists.
Now, MICHA writes songs in Nashville, TN, with the help of some great writing talents. This year, he was selected to play the Pop Ronde, and between now and the end of the year, you can see him play in one of the 40 venues selected for his tour in The Netherlands. His energetic set includes songs that will make you cry and dance (sometimes all at the same time) and one thing is for sure, you will never be bored at a MICHA show.
