“I like the men in my continent. They gimme all of the compliments. But maybe you could be the one for me (ya-ya-ya-ya). ‘Cause you be a little bit different, makin’ me wanna stay longer with ya. I like the way that you talk to me. Wait a minute per favore, I don’t speak your language. Say it with amore, I could stay here pero’ no. Come into my luggage, let me take you home.” – lyrics

‘Ciao Ciao’ tells a heartfelt tale of a young woman who shares a joyous time in sunny California with a new love. Apparently, they reside by the water, and their days and nights are filled with parties and fun-filled adventures. But unfortunately for them, summer has come to an abrupt end, and the woman has to go back home (which is many miles away). Therefore, she finds herself in a peculiar situation where she has to figure out the best way of saying goodbye without breaking her lover’s heart.

‘Ciao Ciao’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-welcoming vocals, and tuneful melodies. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation flavored with urban pop, hip-hop, trap, and contemporary R&B elements. Furthermore, the catchy chorus is centered around a recording of “La Traviata” sang by Fiammetta Izzo D’amico (the artist’s mother).

“‘Ciao Ciao’ is about anyone who’s ever had a summer love away from home. Also, the song is about being torn between staying and leaving.” – Lita stated

Lita’s mother’s influence and her father’s passion for music built a huge interest in songwriting and inspired her to create her own sound. Her musical purpose is to put Italian music on the map by injecting her culture and heritage into her sound. Also, “Ciao Ciao” serves as a fantastic introduction to what listeners can expect to hear on Lita’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “Damaris”.
