Jonas Brothers announced their “Five Albums. One Night” tour

Jonas Brothers (@jonasbrothers) is a world-renowned pop-rock outfit from Wyckoff, New Jersey. Not too long ago, they announced their “Five Albums. One Night” tour is heading to London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow starting on June 12th to the 17th,  2024. The reunion of the Jonas Brothers delighted millennial fans who fell in love with the pop group as teenagers, via Disney movies like Camp Rock.

Growing up with musical parents, brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas all pursued artistic interests at a young age. When he was six, his youngest brother Nick had already started work on Broadway, appearing in productions like Beauty and the Beast and Les Misérables Nick’s work on stage caught the attention of executives at Columbia Records who were keen to get the young singer to record an album. Nick wrote material for the album with his two brothers who eventually were all signed by the label in 2005.

In 2006, Jonas Brothers released their first album, “It’s About Time,” which climbed to the No.91 spot on the Billboard charts and became a regular play on Radio Disney. Such was their growing popularity with Disney fans, Jonas Brothers were signed by Disney-owned Hollywood Records and saw their fanbase quickly expand.

‘It’s About Time’ was followed by the release of the band’s second album, “Jonas Brothers,” in 2007 which landed on the Billboard Hot 200 chart the week it was released.

Two singles from the album were released at the same time: Hold On and the hit S.O.S. The album was supported by a US tour and saw the brothers making multiple appearances on Disney shows like Hannah Montana. Footage from the tour was also used for the Disney Channel reality series, “Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream.”

The group reached new levels of fame in 2008 after their appearance in the hit Disney Channel film, “Camp Rock,” starring alongside then-up-and-coming star, Demi Lovato. The movie helped the band launch their next single, “Burnin’ Up,” which built excitement ahead of the release of their third album, “A Little Bit Longer,” at the end of 2008.

Around the same time, the Jonas Brothers also released the Music From The 3D Concert Experience to support their live concert film of the same name. By late 2009, the band released their fourth album, “Lines, Vines And Trying Times.” This would be the group’s last album before their 2019 reunion.

The Jonas Brothers continued to work on TV and film projects like Jonas L.A. and Camp Rock 2 before the band took a break in 2011 to focus on solo projects. In 2013, they confirmed the Jonas Brothers had split, canceling 23 tour dates and the release of their proposed fifth album due to a “deep rift within the band” over “creative differences.”

In 2019, Joe, Nick, and Kevin delighted long-time Jonas Brothers fans, as well as newer fans, by announcing they would be reuniting with the release of their single, “Sucker.”

The group released “Happiness Begins” that same year, marking their first album in 10 years. Alongside this, they also released the documentary, “Chasing Happiness,” which premiered on Amazon Prime. The documentary took a deeper look at their lives growing up in New Jersey, their start in the music industry, and the rift that caused the band to fall apart some six years earlier.

In May 2023, shortly after receiving their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the trio released “The Album,” which featured the lead single, “Wings,” “Waffle House,” and “Summer Baby.”
