Country’s music biggest names gathered for a night of music and giving back ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. iHeartMedia Nashville’s The BIG 98 hosted Friendsgiving at the Grand Ole Opry House Monday night benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for a night full of Country music performances and surprises.
The BIG 98 Friendsgiving – Jelly Roll
Headlining the show was Jelly Roll, Chris Janson, Riley Green, and Anne Wilson, who all delivered striking performances for a packed audience at the historic venue. John Crist opened the show with a surprise performance, followed by multi-GRAMMY winning superstar rapper Nelly who brought the audience to their feet to sing along.

Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, The BIG 98 partnered with St. Jude as their beneficiary. The inaugural event continues to gather the Country music industry’s biggest names and its fans for another night of record-breaking fundraising and giving back surrounded by uplifting performances.

The Friendsgiving was hosted by The BIG 98 on-air talent, including Wayne D, Tay, Brooke Taylor, and McKiddy who kept the excitement going into the night. The evening continued to center around the importance of the St. Jude mission with St. Jude cancer survivor Addie Pratt who took the stage with Brooke to share her story and shine a light on the important cause.

The BIG 98’s Friendsgiving kicked off the Thanksgiving week strong, serving as a night of inspiration and music for a dedicated cause to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude is currently headwaying their annual This Shirt Saves Lives Campaign, encouraging the public to become a supporter of the hospital and its patients, alongside the biggest celebrities and artists in Country music and beyond. The BIG 98 plans to further support St. Jude’s push with their two-day annual St. Jude event on December 7th and 8th.
