Gwyn Love is a rising singer-songwriter from Oklahoma. Not too long ago, she released a lovely electro-pop tune, entitled, “dance in my room.”
Gwyn Love – “dance in my room” music video
‘dance in my room’ contains a relatable narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies. The likable tune possesses lush instrumentation flavored with contemporary, indie, and electro-pop elements. Furthermore, “dance in my room” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Gwyn Love’s new seven-track project, entitled, “dimr.”
Gwyn Love – “dimr”
“‘dimr’ represents fleeting feelings and moments in time that were significant enough at the time to write about and remember forever. There are songs about my first true love and all the trials that come along with learning to love. A lot of feelings that I simply couldn’t hold inside any longer and of course some cheeky songs that were super fun to write. Louise Burns and I co-wrote half of this album together and the other half was co-written with La+ch, which means they were all written and recorded in Canada, which is pretty cool. Super pumped for you guys to hear and hopefully relate to these songs.” – Gwyn Love explained
‘dimr’ comes on the heels of Gwyn’s “♡ x +” EP collaboration with Toronto producer, La+ch. Maintaining Gwyn’s infectious punk attitude while La+ch turned up the voltage on the electronic, danceable atmosphere, the pairing created an irresistible collection that can easily be taken from the bedroom to the dance floor. The collection was an evolution from her debut EP, “At First Blush,” a more pop-infused, vibrant expression of Gwyn’s own coming of age story, which included her debut single, “never have to see u again.”
Gwyn Love made her debut in 2020. Since then, she has garnered major support with nearly 19K monthly listeners and 202K Spotify streams. Also, her songs have landed on popular playlists such as Spotify’s “It’s A Bop” and “Fresh Finds,” Apple Music’s “New Music Daily,” and Amazon’s “Fresh Pop” and “Brand New Music.”
