Glory Shalom – “Yet I Will” single

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but you deliver them out of them all, that’s what you said. And when I go through the fire, the flames won’t consume me, that’s what you said. I may not know where the road will lead but I know who is guiding me.” – lyrics

‘Yet I Will’ tells an encouraging tale about a young woman who puts her hope in promises made by her Creator. Apparently, as she walks through the valley of the shadow of death, she remembers God’s mercy and faithfulness. Later, she tells God, “When life is heavy and it’s hard to take, I remember you’ll never leave me. You’ll never forsake.”

‘Yet I Will’ contains a faith-based narrative, inspiring lyrics, and ear-pleasing vocals that will resonate well with fans of Travis Greene and Alicia Keys. The likable tune possesses festive horns and thudding drum-laden instrumentation flavored with retro R&B, contemporary gospel, and Christian elements. Furthermore, “Yet I Will” serves as a guiding light for those who are traveling through the darkest hour of the night.

“In the midst of the raging sea, you will reach down and rescue me.”

“I wrote ‘Yet I Will’ during a season that I had experienced a major disappointment in my life. What happens when God leads you into the wilderness? Do you complain and give up or do you continue to praise Him through life’s uncertainties? ‘Yet I Will’ was inspired by Habakkuk 3:17-19. Even though it seemed as if nothing was going right for Habakkuk, their fig trees wouldn’t blossom, there were no grapes on the vines, their olive crops had failed, and the list went on. He said, ‘Yet I Will rejoice in the Lord.’

You can also be reminded of Job, when he had lost everything, but he continued to praise God for who He was, and God blessed him with double for his trouble. This song is dramatic, melodic, and soulful. When we walk through a low valley in life, we can continue to have hope in knowing that God will bring us through. I hope this song encourages you to have peace, joy, and confidence during the rough seasons of life.” – Glory Shalom  explained
