Elizabritz is an LA-based electronic music duo. Not too long ago, they released “Durant Ave”, a lovely neo-soul tune from their upcoming EP, entitled, “Lover”.

Elizabritz  – “Durant Ave”

“The song is about the ups and downs of falling and staying in love and reflecting on how all-consuming passion can change as life goes on. I fell in love for the first time in Berkeley, a ‘drunken kiss on Durant Avenue’. Now after years have passed, this time of year makes me reflect on those days and how my love has matured and grown.” – Elizabritz

‘Durant Ave’ contains a relatable storyline, sweet soul vocals, and groovy instrumentation flavored with a chill, wintry, ‘90s R&B vibe. Also, the song, which is nostalgic in nature, reflects on an evergreen moment which produced a memorable kiss.

Elizabritz consists of singer Rachael Eff and producer Fantom. They met while studying at UC Berkeley.

While there, amid a high stakes academic environment, they realized they shared a mutual passion for creating music.

Later, when their peers graduated and went off to become lawyers and doctors, Elizabritz moved to Los Angeles.

To make ends meet, Elizabritz worked odd jobs during the day and occupied their nights creating soulful, electronic music.

Since then, they’ve been working on a new set of songs which highlights their soulful sound.
